Dental Teeth Cleaning Makes Your Smile Shine

Dental teeth cleaning is offered to all patients by South Florida Dental Arts, and it is a specialty of Dr. Hernandez, and his professionally trained staff. With many years of experience, they know the importance of correct dental teeth cleaning, both in how it increases confidence and also, perhaps more importantly, because of how it creates good dental hygiene in all patients.

Dental teeth cleaning might not seem like something you go to the dentist’s for, but this is not teeth cleaning like the teeth cleaning you do at home – it is more advanced than a tooth brush and some mouthwash! Instead, Dr. Hernandez will use high-tech tools to clean and sanitize the mouth and teeth, therefore completely cleaning the teeth to a professional standard.

Why Is Dental Teeth Cleaning Needed?

You might think that brushing your teeth every night before bed and when you wake up in the morning is enough to keep your teeth clean, but often this is not the case. This is because tartar constantly builds up on the teeth and, much of the time, it is very difficult to spot, as it is white in color. You might not spot this tartar, but Dr. Hernandez will, and he can remove it before it becomes a problem for you. Dental teeth cleaning will also help remove plaque build-ups as well.

What’s the Dental Cleaning Process?

There are three stages to the dental teeth cleaning process, all of which are not painful at all. These stages are:

  • Ultrasonic treatment. An instrument that emits vibrations is used to gently knock the larger pieces of tartar away from the teeth. This might cause a slight tickling sensation, but certainly no pain. The more tartar there is on your teeth, the longer this first stage will take – future visits will be less time consuming.
  • Use of hand tools. Dr. Hernandez and his specialized staff will then use some fine hand tools to gently scrape away the smaller pieces of tartar on the teeth.
  • Polishing. A piece of equipment with a rotating head will then be used to polish the teeth, with the aid of special paste. This will leave your teeth feeling smooth and good as new!

It should be noted that dental teeth cleaning is not a one of procedure – you should visit South Florida Dental Arts regularly to get the process completed. Dr. Hernandez will be able to tell you how often you should visit to keep your teeth in optimum condition.

If you are looking to have this procedure carried out, please call (305) 665-6564 today and speak with one of the friendly members of staff at South Florida Dental Arts. Dr. Hernandez is an expert at dental teeth cleaning and will transform your teeth into something you can be proud of again!
